The Iron travel to Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday as they look to grab three points towards the League One campaign.
The two sides have met each other 36 times during their history, with the first meeting coming in 1954, the Iron thumping Barnsley 6-0. Gary Hooper broke the deadlock midway through the first half, flicking the ball into the back of the net.
Daniel Bogdanovic equalised with 12 minutes to go, but up popped Paul Hayes, who curled his shot round the keeper in the 95th minute to give the Iron all three points.

In 2008, four goals were shared as the Iron drew 2-2 with Barnsley at Glanford Park, after a late equaliser from the visitors.
Goals either side of halftime from Ian Morris and Kelly Youga gave Scunthorpe a two goal lead. Former Iron midfielder Grant McCann pulled one back midway through the second half, before Brian Howard scored from the penalty spot in the final minutes to rescue a point for Barnsley.
