Iron manager Mark Robins has confirmed defender Eddie Nolan will be out until the New Year.
The full-back has suffered a recurrence of an ankle problem, which ruled him out earlier this campaign."Eddie will be out for a little while, he's nursing a knock," said Robins, speaking to BBC Radio Humberside.
"He will probably be out for four-to-six weeks.
"He's got an ankle problem that needs a little bit of time.
"That's the reason we've added to the squad this week."
"We've got too many players out and there have been for a long time," added the boss.
"That's the nature of football sometimes. We are addressing that.
"It takes a little bit of time to put things in place that will make it better for us and ease that burden."
