WATERFALL SIGNS NEW DEAL

21 May 2014

United defender Luke Waterfall has signed a new one-year contract with the Iron.

The former Gainsborough defender played 10 games for the Iron in his debut season as a professional and he scored one goal.

Waterfall made three starts for the Iron during last season's promotion winning campaign and he scored a late equaliser during the 1-1 draw with Chesterfield back in November.

The 23-year-old becomes the first player this summer to agree new terms with the Iron.

Having started his career with Tranmere Rovers, Waterfall moved into non-league to ply his trade before he made the step back up last year.

Waterfall will report for first team training with the rest of the squad at the start of July.
