MCALLISTER SIGNS NEW DEAL

Midfielder Sean McAllister has signed a new two-year contract with the Iron.

The 26-year-old, who was crowned as the Ernie Storey Memorial player of the year, extends his stay with United until the end of the 2015/16 season.

He made 43 appearances in all competitions last season after joining during the summer as a free agent, having spent the previous season at Cowdenbeath.

McAllister started his career at Sheffield Wednesday. Overall, he made 73 appearances at Hillsborough over four years in the first team, scoring four goals.
