United can confirm first team shirt sponsor Rainham Steel have extended their contract for another season.
This means they’ll be sponsoring both our home and away kits throughout the duration of the 2014/15 Sky Bet League campaign.The steel company, who will have sponsored the Iron for eight consecutive seasons, will now become the longest serving shirt sponsors of any Football League club.
With United firmly in contention for promotion under manager Russ Wilcox, a higher fee has been negotiated between the club and company as it is hoped the Iron will be plying their trade in League One next season.
The Iron’s commercial manager Michelle Harness said: “The club are delighted that Rainham Steel have renewed their shirt sponsorship contract with the Iron for a further season.
“We are thrilled that they have agreed to continue showing their long serving support to the club for next season.”
