LEAGUE TWO REVIEW: WEEK 32

24 March 2014

Saturday’s 1-0 win over Burton Albion saw the Iron climb up to second in League Two.

Chesterfield’s goalless draw at Mansfield meant the Spireites slipped down to third.

Rochdale beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 at Adams Park. Second-half goals from Jamie Allen and Peter Vincenti kept Dale top of the table.

AFC Wimbledon came from behind to eventually beat Cheltenham Town 4-3 at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. Troy Brown and Jermaine McGlashan gave the Robins a two-goal lead but two for Danny Hylton and one for Jake Nicholson overturned the game for the Dons.

Cheltenham levelled to 3-3 through Jason Taylor, but Jack Midson scored an injury-time winner for Wimbledon.

Exeter City beat Fleetwood Town 3-0 at St James Park thanks to a Jon Parkin own-goal before two for Eliot Richards.

York City were 1-0 winners at Portsmouth after an early goal from Michael Coulson. Pompey also had captain Ben Chorley sent off in the second half.

Newport County also nicked a 1-0 win at Torquay as Chris Zebroski grabbed the game’s only goal.

And there were draws for Accrington (1-1 at home to Plymouth), Bury (1-1 at home to Dagenham & Redbridge) and Morecambe (1-1 at home to Northampton) in the latest round of Sky Bet League 2 fixtures.
