Andy Dawson has agreed a new one-year contract to continue in his player/coach role with the Iron.
The 35-year-old will focus mostly on his coaching duties next season, but will remain contracted and available as a player should his experience and quality be required.Dawson, who joined from Hull City last summer, made 22 appearances last season.
