The Iron return to action with a trip to face Frickley Athletic on Tuesday night.
Kick-off at Westfield Lane is 7.00pm.The game will see Bournemouth defender Miles Addison make an appearance, after he agreed a loan move to the Iron, which will start on August 8.
United are expected to bring squad players on the periphery of the first team to the game in South Elmsall, with boss Russ Wilcox set to rest key players for this week's pre-season friendly double-header.
Definitely missing out is Sam Slocombe, who will rest a slight groin niggle.
David Mirfin (knee) is definitely absent, with him set to miss the start of the season.
David Syers (calf) and James Severn (thigh) are also set to be rested with weekend returns against Leicester City most likely.
