The Iron are 33/1 to win the League One Title outright with Sky Bet ahead of this coming season.

Sheffield United are the favourites to win the league at 5/1 but the Iron are seen as the third most likely to win the league amongst the teams that followed them into promotion from League Two last season, with Chesterfield and Fleetwood both 25/1 and Rochdale 40/1.

The club are 10/1 to win promotion outright, which again puts them third behind Chesterfield and Fleetwood, who are both 7/1 and ahead of Rochdale, who are 14/1.

A top six finish and thus a play-off place for the club is 9/2, with a top half finish being 11/8 and a bottom half finish being 4/7.

It seems that the bookies believe that the Iron will finish mid-table this season, with the club being 4/1 to suffer relegation straight back to League Two and their chances being considered much higher than clubs such as Bradford, Crewe and Notts County.

One bet that has yet to be released is the League One top scorer and Iron fans that fancy the chances of last season’s League Two top scorer Sam Winnall, Paddy Madden, new signing Lyle Taylor and Deon Burton to claim that honour should keep tabs on for more.
