Iron striker Paddy Madden has been nominated for the November League One player of the month award.
it comes after he scored three goals in a productive few weeks for United. He notched during the 2-2 away draw at Crawley before scoring a well-taken brace in the 2-1 win at Barnsley.
He also played his part in the wins at Peterborough United and Forest Green.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
Here is what Sky Bet had to say about the nominees:
Carl Baker (MK Dons) - midfielder
Still getting back to full fitness, he has provided an irresistible spark by running at defenders and mesmerising them at will. Baker ran the game and struck a fine low winner against Port Vale, while he had two assists in the 6-0 win over Colchester United.
Aden Flint (Bristol City) – central defender
A real leader in a City defence which became miserly in November with two clean sheets and only two goals conceded. Flint has added maturity to command in the air and strength in the tackle. Always a threat at set pieces, too.
Stephen Jordan (Fleetwood Town) – central defender
A full-back in his early days at Manchester City, he now puts his pace to good effect in the centre of a Fleetwood defence which let in two goals all month. Jordan is always in the right place because he reads the game so well.
Paddy Madden (Scunthorpe United) – striker
Three goals in three November games for the Irishman who typified his side’s new-found energy with a series of tireless displays. Madden’s eye for goal was evident against Barnsley with a poacher’s strike.
