Iron defender Marcus Williams will be suspended for three matches.
The ban will start with immediate effect following his red card for violent conduct against Swindon Town on Saturday.He was dismissed following an altercation with Nathan Thompson.
Williams will miss the away Capital One Cup first round clash at Blackburn, and the home games with Preston North End and Fleetwood.
