United have signed midfielder Nicky Featherstone on non-contract terms.
The former Walsall player will be in contention for a place in the squad for Saturday's away clash at Yeovil Town.The 25-year-old joins after impressing in a trial and has made almost 60 League One appearances in the last two years.
He is a former Hull City youth product, and has also had loan spells at North Ferriby United, Grimsby Town and Hereford United before a permanent spell at the latter.
Featherstone has been handed the No 22 shirt.
