The Iron’s Under-18 side drew 0-0 away at their Hartlepool United counterparts on Saturday morning.

The game was played in difficult windy conditions, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game - with the team working extremely hard. There were chances at either end, but Scunthorpe defended well throughout.

Keeping a clean sheet was also a pleasing aspect of the performance, and the focus now is on Thursday night’s FA Youth Cup away first round clash at Long Eaton United (7pm kick-off).
