Goalkeeper Luke Daniels joined the Iron in January 2015 from West Bromwich Albion.
The ‘keeper was a much-needed addition to the Iron after Sam Slocombe and James Severn both broke their arms in a match against Bristol City that month.
Daniels was brought through West Brom’s academy, and made his full league debut in August 2013.
He’s been on loan spells to clubs such as Bristol Rovers, Rochdale, Charlton, Tranmere, Shrewbury and Motherwell, which all aided him in starting Capital One Cup ties for West Brom against Newport and Arsenal.
Entering his second full season as the Iron's shotstopper, after making 67 appearances for the club prior to 2016-17, Daniels will be looking to help push United up the League One table.
