Iron striker Paddy Madden joined the club from Yeovil Yown in January 2014 for an undisclosed fee.

Madden began his career at Irish side Bohemians, where had scored 14 goals in 53 appearances.

He then joined Carlisle United in 2011 on a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

He went on to make 32 appearances for the club, but was sent on loan to Yeovil Town in the 2012-2013 season.

Madden scored a blistering 23 goals in 39 games for the club, before joining the club permanently the next summer.

He helped Yeovil earn promotion and scored in their 2-1 win against Brentford in their League One play-off final.

Madden then joined Scunthorpe in January 2014 after falling down to the pecking order at Yeovil.

Prior to the start of the 2016-17 season, he has scored 45 goals in 128 appearances for the club.
