SUFC Trust chief executive Lee Turnbull, manager Nigel Adkins and players Joe Murphy and Chris Dagnall endorsed a new initiative from North Lincolnshire Council on Thursday.

Plings is a website that has all the information about what's going on for Children and Young People across the country.
What can Plings do for you?
Simply enter your postcode at www.plings.net to see what's going on around you!
We have a whole host of activities going on throughout the summer and this is the place to find them!
Not only does it tell you what's going on, but it shows you details of each activity like when it is, where it is, who to contact for bookings, the cost and any age limits.Then you can even get directions to the activities you choose at a click of a button!
Once you've found something that you like, why don't you click on the "send to Facebook" or "send to Twitter" button and let all of your friends know about it too?
We'd recommend that you contact the people organising the activity, just to make sure it's still going ahead and not already full!
North Lincolnshire Council want to make it as quick and easy as possible for you to find out what's going on.If you are unable to access the website, you can either call the Family Information Service on: 01724 296629 and ask them what's going on near you, or you can go to one of the outlets listed below, to pick up a hard copy of what's going on each week:

Cllr Tony Gosling, cabinet member for children's services, said; "Plings website is a great way for young people to find out what's going on in their area.During the school summer holidays, lots of events and activities have been organised to suit most tastes.It's simple to access the information, so why not give it a go."
Lee Turnbull added: "We're delighted to be launching the Pling campaign.
"All of our summer soccer camp information is on the Pling site, as well as many North Lincolnshire activities throughout the summer."
Nigel Adkins stated: "SUFC and Plings are teaming up to give kids a fun and safe summer full of great activities.
While Chris Dagnall said: "Footy in the summer is a brilliant way to spend time with your mates especially at Scunthorpe United."
