The SUFC Trust have arranged a number of events for Over 50s:NEW OVER 50S TRAINING SESSIONS STARTAre you unemployed? Retired and got spare time?Scunthorpe United Sports and Education Trust Over 50 co-ordinator Gav Cooper has new weekly football sessions for aspiring footballers over the age of 50.
Sessions include a light warm up, small-sided games and plenty of fun.
New session dates include the following:
Monday - 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Premier Pitches
Kettering Road, off Cottage Beck Road
Thursday - 11.00am to 12noon

The Thursday morning session is indoors so trainers and moulded boots are suitable.
All players must bring drinks and suitable clothing for indoor or outdoor activity.
Both sessions are free of charge but booking is required.
New social activities have been arranged to complement this training, such as:
> Coffee mornings
> Wii challenge evening
> Ground tours

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR SOCIAL EVENTA new social event for the over 50 squad has just been organised.Scunthorpe United and Sports Education Trust, in partnership with the Football Foundation and Tottenham Hotspur FC are proud to offer a day trip.
The day will include transport, ground tour, meal and drinks.
It takes place on December 17 and costs £15.00 each person. We will leave at 7.00am and return at 6.00pm.

A bracing three mile walk followed by a meal in the

01724 297342. This takes place on the last Wednesday of every month.

We now offer swimming lessons for men and women over 60.
