United's reserves will be hoping to get an unbeaten run of their own going as they head to Grimsby Town on Wednesday afternoon (2.00pm kick-off).
A number of professionals are expected to line up for the second string, managed by Tony Daws, at Blundell Park.
Last week, they won 2-0 at Rotherham United and 10 professionals on the fringes of the team were selected.
Defenders Andy Crosby and Joe Wilcox are expected to step-up their comebacks after missing the start of the season with knee injuries.
