Former Charlton Athletic midfielder Josh Wright signed a two-year deal in July 2009.
The skilful 19-year-old joined after leaving the Addicks.
He impressed during a loan spell with Gillingham, appearing eight times in all competitions and shining in the League Two play-off final against Shrewsbury Town at Wembley last season.
Wright also impressed while at Brentford at the beginning of the previous campaign, appearing five times.
In addition, he made 35 appearances, scoring once, for Barnet the year before.
The England U19 international only appeared on three occasions for Charlton, who released him.
