The Iron completed the signing of York City striker Adam Boyes for an undisclosed fee in July 2009.
The young frontman became the fourth addition of the summer at Glanford Park and he penned a three-year contract.
The forward is very much one for the future, and boss Nigel Adkins is hoping to develop the player over the next two to three years.
Boyes has had a trial with Manchester United, and has also attracted interest from Middlesbrough and Tottenham.
The forward has scored twice in 10 league starts for the Minstermen.
He re-joined York City on loan for a month at the start of the 2009-10 season, making three appearances in a month-long spell.
