Bobby Grant signed for the Iron from Accrington Stanley in the summer of 2010.
He came to real prominence with Accrington last season - hitting 18 goals in 51 appearances during a consistent campaign.
He was a schoolboy at Liverpool before signing for Stanley.
Capable of playing on the left-wing too, the Litherland-born product has a knack of scoring important, and spectacular, goals.
