Australian defender Trent McClenahan has signed a short term deal until January.

The right-back featured in last Tuesday night's Lincolnshire Senior Cup final against Grimsby Town after receiving international clearance just before kick-off, and was on the substitutes' bench for Tuesday's Carling Cup first round game with Oldham Athletic.

An ex-Australian U23 international, the 25-year-old is formerly of West Ham United, Milton Keynes Dons (during two loan spells), Hereford United and Hamilton Academical.

He has been training with the club for the past week as boss Nigel Adkins assessed the Australian.
