Saturday, April 24, 2010 - 3.00pm

Doncaster Rovers provide the Iron's final away opposition of the season this Saturday when Nigel Adkins' side visit the Keepmoat Stadium.

Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Reading means United's Championship safety is secure for another season, but Adkins had challenged his players to end the campaign with two victories.

The higher Scunthorpe finish, the more money the club receives and a mid-table finish as opposed to a 21st-placed finish may appear more attractive to possible new additions in the summer.

Doncaster are one of the best passing sides in the second tier and an enthralling encounter is in store between two teams who can relax and concentrate on playing entertaining football, with the pressure well and truly off.

United head into the game with no fresh injury problems, although defenders Rob Jones (calf), Michael Raynes and Jim McNulty (both ankle) continue to miss out.

Adkins is targeting a return in the home game with Nottingham Forest next Sunday for that trio.

Kenny Milne could come back into contention after being rested in midweek in Reading, while the likes of Sam Togwell, Michael O'Connor and Josh Wright will be pushing for first team recalls.

Should he play, Jonathan Forte would be visiting a former club, for whom he scored in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final back in 2007.

Meanwhile, leading striker Gary Hooper is chasing the Championship Golden Boot. With two games left he is the joint second top scorer in the league and is just two goals behind Cardiff's Peter Whittingham.

For Doncaster, winger James Coppinger - who has been suffering from an ankle injury - has only a 50-50 chance of being fit while skipper Brian Stock is set to return to the side after undergoing back surgery in February.

Martin Woods misses out through a groin injury, while Billy Sharp, on loan from Sheffield United, won't play again this season because of a torn thigh.

Andy D'Urso will be the man in the middle for the game.
