Winger Martyn Woolford says his side need to approach the home match against Peterborough United in midweek with the same urgency they showed against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.Scunthorpe recorded a hugely important 2-1 win against the Pilgrims, with Woolford scoring the winning goal which took United out of the Championship relegation zone.
Bottom-placed Peterborough arrived in town on Tuesday night and Woolford says his team will approach the game in a similar manner.
"We need three points from the Peterborough game as well," Woolford told
The Iron Player.
"We'll be looking for nothing less. It's another home game - we've shown we're decent at
Glanford Park.
"We've got a good home record so we've got to go for the three points.
"We've just been taking it one game at a time and now the Plymouth game is out of the way all we're focusing on is Peterborough.
"It's a big game on Tuesday and that's all we're focusing on. There's still a lot of hard work to do.
"The win on Saturday has certainly given us confidence though.
"We knew before the game that we needed three points.
"We made it hard for ourselves by letting a goal in early but we showed great character and deserved the win in the end."
