BRUISED TOE RULED OUT JOSH

Posted on: Mon 22 Mar 2010
Midfielder Josh Wright missed Saturday's home game against Plymouth Argyle with a badly bruised toe, boss Nigel Adkins confirmed afterwards.

The former Charlton man, who signed last summer, hobbled off during the later stages of last Wednesday's defeat at Newcastle.

However, Adkins hasn't put a timeframe on when the player will return.

"He's got a badly bruised toe, but it's not fractured," said Adkins.

"There's a lot of swelling on there that we've got to get down.

"We'll just have to wait and see how long he's out for."

Adkins had previously confirmed leading scorer Gary Hooper will have an injection in the groin area on Wednesday.
