Saturday, February 27, 2010 - 3.00pm

The Iron finish a busy February by playing their final game for a fortnight when they visit Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday.

There are 13 games left and Scunthorpe sit 17th in the division. However, with them not in action next weekend and the majority of their rivals playing, United will be going out for all three points at the Ricoh Arena in their seventh game of the month.

They face a Coventry side who have lost just one game in seven and have hopes of sneaking the final play-off place.

Manager Nigel Adkins can take encouragement from the 1-0 home victory over the Sky Blues in December though, in addition to the fact that his team are three games unbeaten.

Winger Martyn Woolford has shaken off a calf problem and will be fit for the game. The likes of Grant McCann and Josh Wright will be itching for a recall though should Adkins decide to shake things up in midfield.

Centre-back Rob Jones has missed the last week and a half with a broken nose and remains a doubt. He took part in training on Thursday but was still feeling discomfort when heading a ball.

Michael Raynes will be fit for the game, despite cutting his lip in the 1-1 midweek home draw with Ipswich Town.

Michael O'Connor serves the second of a three match suspension and won't return to Iron action until the trip to Newcastle United on Wednesday, March 17.

Andrew Wright (ankle) is unlikely to be fit in time, while Ian Morris (knee) faces six weeks out.

Coventry defender Richard Wood has picked up a hip injury during training this week and is a doubt. Fellow centre-back Leon Barnett is available again after serving a one match ban though.

Midfielder David Bell is a doubt too, as he struggles with a knee problem.

The referee for the game is Paul Taylor.
