Iron striker Ben May will be banned for three first team games following his red card in the reserve side's 6-1 defeat at Hartlepool United last week.

The forward was sent off for violent conduct after the match referee adjudged him to have headbutted Leon McSweeney at Victoria Park.

His suspension will begin on Wednesday, March 3 and he will be banned for the games with Reading, Ipswich and Newcastle.
