RIGHT: David Mirfin limps off injured against Doncaster.

Defender David Mirfin and striker Jonathan Forte are both doubts for Wednesday night's away trip to Nottingham Forest.

The pair both came off injured in the first half of Saturday's 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers.

"We lost David Mirfin to a groin injury and he's doubtful for the next two games," said boss Nigel Adkins, speaking on The Iron Player.

"Jonathan Forte came off after being poked in the eye and has been to hospital because his eyeball was bleeding. He's got a patch on that now and we'll just have to wait and see on Wednesday."

He added that he hoped Gary Hooper would be fit for the match with Forest but it's a case of 'wait and see'.
