Prior to Saturday's home game with Queens Park Rangers, young Iron striker Adam Boyes will be presented with an international cap following his appearance for the England C team in a friendly match against Malta played earlier this year. 

Boyes achieved this recognition while playing for York City prior to his move to United during the summer.

The England C team is selected from players below the Football League and has had an excellent record under the management of Paul Fairclough, losing only three games since 2004.

The cap will be presented by Mr Reg Jackson who is a Member of the FA Representative Matches Committee and Lincolnshire's Representative on the FA Council.
