IRON TO FACE LINCOLN NEXT THURSDAY

United will travel to Sincil Bank to face Peter Jackson's Lincoln City in the final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup on Thursday, July 30 (7.30pm kick-off).

The game against the League Two side will see Scunthorpe try and claim the trophy for the third time in succession.

The Iron beat Grimsby 3-0 in the semi-final on Monday night to reach it.

Nigel Adkins' team haven't faced Lincoln since April 2008 when they beat the Imps 5-0 in the final of this tournament.
