O'CONNOR FINE

Posted on: Mon 13 Jul 2009
Manager Nigel Adkins has confirmed that midfielder Michael O'Connor picked up a knock in Saturday's 2-1 pre-season friendly win at Bottesford Town, but will be fine.

He played as part of the first-half team, and has ice applied to his shin by physiotherapist Alex Dalton during the half-time break.

It was his first appearance since signing from Crewe Alexandra for a fee that could rise to £225,000 last Monday.

He partnered Grant McCann in the centre of midfield and is expected to appear at Winterton Rangers on Tuesday night.
