Midfielder Ian Morris has signed a new two-year contract with the Iron.

The former Leeds man, who can also play at left-back, has been with the club since August 2006, and has made over 80 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight times.

The 22-year-old spent the latter part of last season on loan at Carlisle but returned just before the start of the play-offs, in which he played every minute for Scunthorpe on the left-hand side of the defence.
