United have completed the signing of former Falkirk defender Kenny Milne on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old centre-back signs a two-year deal with the option of a third in the club's favour, and becomes the club's second signing of the summer so far.

Milne has spent his career north of the border, encompassing spells at Hearts, Cowdenbeath, Partick Thistle and Falkirk.

Standing at six foot two inches, he has spent the last three years with the latter - making almost 100 league appearances in the Scottish Premier League.

His contract expired at the end of June and, despite the interest of a number of clubs, he has decided to move to Glanford Park.
