LEA GIVEN IRON TRIAL

RIGHT: Michael Lea is being explored as an option should Marcus Williams' future lay elsewhere.
The Iron have handed a trial to released Manchester United left-back Michael Lea.
The 20-year-old defender has been training with the Iron following his exit from Old Trafford.
Lea has been with the Red Devils from when he was a schoolboy but is now on the lookout for a new club.
He spent part of last season on loan at Royal Antwerp.
The club hope Marcus Williams will sign a new contract within the next few days following his return to training, but Lea is an option.
