TWO EX-STRIKERS ON THE MOVE

Posted on: Fri 16 May 2008
A pair of ex-Scunthorpe forwards have been the subject of transfer activity this week.

Thirty-one-year-old Daniel McBreen is set to move from Scottish side St Johnstone back to his native Australia.

The forward has flown halfway across the world to discuss terms with Adelaide United.

He made just one just seven appearances while with the Iron.

Elsewhere, former loanee Tom Brighton has ended a two-year spell with League One side Millwall by signing a pre-contract agreement with Scottish Premier League side St Mirren.

The 24-year-old made five appearances for the Iron during a loan spell from Glasgow Rangers.

Meanwhile, winger Wayne Corden has been released by Leyton Orient.
