The Glanford Park pitch currently resembles a beach after the annual pitch work was carried out.

On Saturday the pitch was fraze mowed. This process removes the vegetation above ground but leaves behind the grass root.

The pitch has since been re-seeded and received a covering of a sand based top dressing.

The groundstaff will now have over two months to get the pitch ready for the Iron's first home pre-season friendly against Sheffield United on Saturday, July 26.
