Former Scunthorpe left-back Kelly Youga has signed a brand new three-year contract with Charlton Athletic.

The 22-year-old Frenchman made 20 appearances for the Iron during a loan spell for the first half of this season.

After being recalled, Youga appeared 12 times for the Addicks, impressing boss Alan Pardew.

"Kelly is one of our up and coming young players and I have high hopes for him next season," Pardew told charlton-athletic.co.uk.

"He gained good experience this season so we are pleased to secure him for the next three years. Hopefully he can continue to develop."
