United's brand new family enclosure, introduced for the start of the 2008-09 campaign, has proved popular with supporters buying season tickets so far.

The family section is to be located in the south west corner of the Scunthorpe Telegraph stand, and sales are going well in that area.

The club opted for this location because it is close to toilets and refreshment points, and is an underused area of the ground.

With football becoming an ever increasing family activity, the club decided to dedicated an area within the stadium for families to sit with likeminded people.

On a matchday the Iron intend to run additional activities pre-match and at half time to keep the children entertained and add to the excitement of live football.
