The Iron's second string held Leeds United to a 0-0 draw at Elland Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The hosts had an Ian Westake strike disallowed for offside in the first half, but were well-matched by their Scunthorpe counterparts.

Leeds, perhaps, had more chances with Curtis Weston, Anthony Elding and Ollie Hotchkiss going close.

United's best chance fell the way of Jonathan Forte, who fired wide from just inside the penalty area after creating a good chance for himself.
