LATE AMEOBI GOAL CLINCHES RESERVE WIN

A last-minute goal by Tomi Ameobi secured the Iron reserves' first away victory in five months.

It had looked like their match at York City was heading for a goal-less draw, but Ameobi stepped up to covert a Peter Winn cross and clinch it for United.

Defender Izzy Iriekpen stepped up his comeback by playing 80 minutes of the game.
