Adam Boyes is on the verge of leaving York City to join Championship club Scunthorpe United. City boss Martin Foyle has confirmed to The Press that he expects 18-year-old striker Boyes to be moving on with chairman Jason McGill having concluded a deal for his departure. And The Press understands that Boyes has agreed personal terms with the Glanford Park outfit, where he would join former team-mate Martyn Woolford. Foyle said: "I don't want to name the club because deals can always fall through, but this one looks like it will go ahead. It's just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. The chairman has done the deal and it's a good one for York City Football Club and a good one for the player."
