Defender Marcus Williams has warned Swindon that they may face an Iron backlash on Saturday at Glanford Park.

United head into their match with the Robins looking to bounce back from a 3-0 loss at Oldham, and consolidate their place at the top of League One.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "It's a good game to bounce back with but Swindon will see that we got battered on Tuesday and they'll be looking to push on.

"Swindon have struggled and they'll be thinking that's a turning point for us because before then we'd won so many games on a high.

"They might see us as on a losing streak now, but that won't be the case. The boys are really up for it and we've worked hard in training.

"Some teams might be thinking Tuesday's game is going to be our downfall, but I can tell you now, that's not going to be our downfall.
