FORTE WILL GET BETTER - HAYES
Striker Paul Hayes says fellow forward Jonathan Forte will seize his chance when he finally gets given the chance to lead the line for United.
The former Sheffield United attacker made a first appearance for the first team in over a month at Leyton Orient on Saturday and, after some impressive displays for the reserves, Hayes feels the pacy Barbados international has a lot to offer.
He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "At the moment, with each training session and each game, he's getting more and more confidence.
"He was a bit disappointed that he hasn't been in the squad recently but he has taken it on the chin and he's changed his training methods.
"He was on fire on Thursday in training, he was the best trainer and he came on at Leyton Orient and did well.
"I'm pleased for him because he's only a young lad, he's still got things to learn."
