United captain Izzy Iriekpen believes his side can make history as they look to equal a club record for successive league wins in a row at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

The Iron could make it seven straight league victories, and Iriekpen says the team aren't feeling the weight of expectation.

"We want to create our own bit of history, people always want to compare us to the past," he told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"You can't live in the past, you've got to move on and look to the future.

"There's so many young players in this team and hopefully if we keep them and get promoted, we can do big things.
