Iron winger Martyn Woolford says his team have even more goals in them, as they seek to build on an excellent start to the season.

United sit second heading into Saturday's game against Yeovil Town, and a victory over the Glovers would see Scunthorpe top the table as long as Oldham lose.

The wideman has put his team's resurgence, after losing the first two games, down to hard work and a confidence in what the club is trying to achieve.

And the former York attacker is keen to build on the one goal he has netted so far at Brighton.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "We've got goals all over the team and I'm quite confident I'll get more goals.

"But my thing at the moment, with the competition for places, is to make sure I'll stay in the starting XI.

"There's a good squad of players here and you know you've got to be on your game to stay in the team, which keeps you on your toes.

"You know you can't afford to relax and the competition for places is there in every position.

"But I know if I keep working hard, the goals will come."
