Midfielder Sam Togwell says he and his fellow midfielders will keep trying to chip in with goals, easing the burden on Gary Hooper and Paul Hayes this season.

The former Barnsley player notched a sublime first strike in claret and blue in the win at Hereford on Saturday, and it is something he intends to continue doing.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "It's not only strikers that can score goals.

"If we keep chipping in from midfield - that's four of us now that have scored from midfield - it eases the pressure on the strikers."

He added: "This will go in my scrapbook. I'm pleased to score - but I don't want to make the headlines

"I'm happy with doing what I'm doing.
