CROSBY SET FOR COMEBACK
Iron player/assistant manager Andy Crosby hopes to make his first-team return for the reserves against Bradford City on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old has been out since March with a knee injury, but is hopeful of finally returning from the lay-off this coming week.
He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: The injury's much better. I've had so many injections over the summer, it's been too many. I don't like needles as it is.
"But I've been to see a guy in Leicester who's been treating Owen Hargreaves at Manchester United and it seems to have done the trick.
"I've trained now for the last 10 days with no reaction, so hopefully I'll play with the reserves next week."
