MONDAY'S MEDIA ROUND-UP
Scunthorpe United have suffered a pre-season blow after it was confirmed that first-choice goalkeeper Joe Murphy could be out of action for up to six weeks with a groin injury. The 26-year-old suffered the problem in training and was replaced in goal for Saturday's pre-season friendly against Sheffield United by Josh Lillis.

Sheffield United insist, albeit unconvincingly, that no decisions have been taken on team selection for next month's Championship curtain-raiser against Birming ham City. Barring injury, illness or suspension at least six of the players who finished this match are expected to feature in Kevin Blackwell's first-choice eleven at St Andrews. Or should that be seven? Danny Webber, who started the club's pre-season programme on the periphery of the manager's thinking, continued to press his case for a starring role in the Midlands with another exquisite strike against tenacious opposition.
Sheffield Star
Scunthorpe United have been forced into a sudden change of plan for rookie goalkeeper Josh Lillis. But now the 21-year-old is set to come of age with the Iron by lining up to face Leeds United on the opening day of the new season a week on Saturday.
