Tuesday's Scunthorpe Telegraph carry an interview with former Iron midfielder Jim Goodwin, in which the Republic of Ireland international claims that League One will prove tougher than ever this season

The 26-year-old, now with Huddersfield, feels there are a number of clubs with the potential to win promotion from the third tier.

"I think it will be harder to get out this time than it was when we finished champions," he told the newspaper.

"There are some big clubs in the league this time.

"Leeds and Leicester are obviously going to be the two real favourites.

"But there are some other big clubs behind them - like us at Huddersfield - while MK Dons and Peterborough will also be hoping to do well after coming up from League Two.

"And I think Scunthorpe could do well next season too. I hope so."
