The Iron's unbeaten run came to an end in disappointing fashion as Yeovil came back from a goal down to take all three points.

Yeovil posed the first threat on goal on 10 minutes when Gall whipped in a right wing cross to Crittenden who rose unchallenged to head over the top from eight yards.

The home side another great chance to go in front on 13 minutes when they broke out of defence leaving Nathan Stanton facing three attackers and as he closed down Terry, he fed Elam whose shot was saved by Evans. Gall picked up the rebound and crossed for Terry who shot over with just Stanton on the goal line.

The Iron were forced into a change on 19 minutes when Cliff Byrne limped off to be replaced by Mark Jackson.

The Iron's first opportunity came on 32 minutes when Peter Beagrie's left wing cross was half cleared to the edge of the box where Richard Kell fired wide.

The Iron won a penalty in the 36th minute, after a scramble on the edge of the area Richard Kell was brought down by Hugo Rodrigus. From the spot Peter Beagrie found the top left corner of the net although goalkeeper Weale had guessed the right way.

On 40 minutes Hayes had a good chance to make it two, Beagrie delivered a tantalising left wing cross that Hayes stretching could not get a touch on to guide into an open net.

The Iron made another change at the interval with goalscorer Peter Beagrie being replaced by Featherstone.

Yeovil pushed forward in the second period and had a good chance to get themselves back into the game on 60 minutes when Terry cut in from the right and fired just wide of Evans left hand post.

With the Iron being forced further and further back the equaliser came on 70 minutes when former Iron Kirk Jackson headed home on the far post.

Substitute Jonathan Hunt could have made a name for himself on 78 minutes when he reacted first to reach Featherstone's cross but he fired wide from just inside the box.

However it was Yeovil who stole the points with an 81st minute winner when the Iron failed to deal with a cross from the left and Andy Lindegaard fired home from six yards.
